Our All Star Netballers began their tour yesterday. Upon arrival to Liverpool, they faced Merchant Taylorsโ School in the penultimate fixtures of the programme. The U15 team earnt a 25-20 win, whilst the U13s worked hard in a tough game, applying coaches feedback throughout๐

It was time for our year 9 football team, winners of the Coastal league in term 4, to face the Wolds league winners. The Superzone final took place at Skegness Town Football Club, with TeamSGS having the opportunity to use the first team changing room and pitchโฆ

Our DRET All Star Netballers attended their inspiration day. The opportunity enabled them to watch 2 elite level matches at the Sir David Wallace Arena. It was a great experience to spectate such talent on court in the sold out arena. A thoroughly enjoyable evening of netball๐๐
TeamSGS attended the first athletics competition of the season. They competed in the ESAA Track & Field Cup. We saw a display of exceptional performances from our students. It was a brilliant event to support with our DRET Summer Cup preparations. Well done๐ช ๐๐
What a fantastic time our students had at the table tennis development day. Theyโve had the opportunity to learn new skills to develop their game, whilst enjoying the sport alongside other students from across the Trust.

Our talented hockey players accessed a brilliant opportunity today as they attended an @MT__13 hockey development day. They were able to work on individual skills and techniques alongside game based applications. Well done๐
Year 7 County Cup CHAMPIONS๐
After an impressive and hard-fought run to the final, our Year 7 team were crowned County Cup champions in a thrilling contest against a strong Boston Grammar side. The match ended 1โ1 before being decided on penalties, where TeamSGS took victory!๐ฅ
DRET Inclusive event: students learnt basic wheelchair skills before learning how to play Wheelchair Basketball, Rugby & Tennis. They took part in target Boccia, New Age Kurling Skittles & Seated Volleyball. It was an exciting opportunity for our young people ๐๐
