@CyclistAttitude I’ve been told to apologise for something I didn’t do by police before or face the same.
I refused because I am pretty stubborn and luckily they didn’t take it any further, but it seems a very odd approach for them to take.
Either prosecute bcos there is a real crime or don’t!

@kat2801 Ah yeah good point about defensive contact. I guess it just feels a bit of a shame to highlight someone’s mistakes. Would love to see a bit more positive comments sometimes. I know we are holding everyone to high standards. I defo couldn’t umpire!

@kat2801 But if you also watch this footage, the umpire calls a contact in the circle. Would you rather she called the footwork outside or the contact inside? She might well have seen it and called the priority call. Or she might have missed it but she human and players make errors too🤷🏽‍♀️

@NichollEmily As a TM I’ve had the double CP happen at international, NSL and local level netball and it drives me mad that you can’t do anything about it. I’ve also been part of a power cut, a game abandoned-score given and floor delays. Just not all in one weekend… thank god! #sostressful

@tamsingreenway Let’s hope coverage of the rule a bit more will help though. I had a C cautioned for holding the ball for 3 secs in the Center circle at the end of a Q. So frustrating when you teach them to be tactically aware.
