@moq_46 I hope this isn't a bother with all the posts, but I think you and the team are doing a fantastic job and I'm really excited to see what's in store for the future for Sonic going forward!
@moq_46 This would allow for full free form momentum gameplay with all the speed and acceleration that boosting provides, it also allows the spin dash to shoot sonic to max speed and go faster down hills (making that ability useful too).
@moq_46 Continuing to hold the button after the dash brings you up to max speed gradually as it would while moving. When reaching max speed, you no longer need to hold the button to maintain max speed, just keep running.
@moq_46 When standing still, holding the (speed up button) instantly dashes to just below the full speed you'd run without using the speed up button (standard running speed).
@moq_46 Instead of using boost mechanics, design the game around momentum. Instead of capping the speed limit, design a button to allow the payer to speed up to max speed gradually, but quickly while already moving.
