A real buzz at our health and social care careers event! Had the pleasure of speaking to some our local residents looking for a career change and doing something where they can develop their skills and make a difference to people’s lives.

This is exactly how I feel. It is beyond tragedy that people who chose a lifestyle that the EU allowed did not realise that leaving it would mean the end of it. It’s not funny. We are all poorer because of it.
@OculusSupport Hi @OculusSupport - as with other customers, I ordered a Quest 2, and 3 other items from your store. The 3 other items arrived, but the Quest 2 was missing. Apart from an initial acknowledgment from support, I have yet to hear whether the Quest 2 I have paid for will be sent.
@TessaRSCole @TessaRSCole - my mum has also been researching our family tree. She has found a large branch of “Wiggles”. I shan’t be changing my name...
@hackneycouncil I don’t understand how reducing public transport supports social distancing. A city the size of London needs a good mass transit system alongside safe cycling and walking routes.
@MelOw73 Yes, you’ll know as well as I do the tremendous effort our domiciliary staff are making, often with limited access to testing. Hopefully this will improve- there’s a real push for this.

NHS Winter Planning will only be effective if #SocialCare has focus too
Social Care colleagues are working relentlessly & often without the resource, support & recognition afforded to the NHS, yet they go on

@Lisa_SW77 I know. NHS staff are absolutely key, but I can see how exhausted social care staff are from this long period of care, personal loss and illness, and getting ready for the usual winter pressures.
watching @Channel4News lots of coverage on the NHS preparing for the 2nd wave of Covid 19. Yet again no coverage of social care - absolutely key to the whole winter planning for health and care. Please recognise all staff who’ve been working tirelessly for months to combat Covid
