@EddieErnstPTA 6. Already we've seen the work that PTA Leadership has done in increasing the PTA voice with working on getting PTAs a full vote at the component level in most states.
@EddieErnstPTA 5. If we want to start change, I think we need to start it at a local level and get MORE PTAs involved to let their state’s know that we are engaged members and want to participate! We need more PTAs involved in leadership roles within their state’s association
@EddieErnstPTA 4. My state’s delegation welcomed me with open arms and included me in all of their discussions leading up to and during house and I even got to help add language to a motion.
@EddieErnstPTA 3. This was also my first HOD experience as an SPTA and found that PTAs and PTs a like were open to my suggestions and opinions. Together the Student Assembly and the PTAC crafted a motion that was put on consent calendar this year.
@EddieErnstPTA 2. I’m on the Student Assembly Board and my fellow SPT board members elected for me (an SPTA) to be the second delegate because they wanted to make sure we were representing that we are “better together” and that the SPTA voice was heard.
Hey #ptfam I'm so excited for this talk coming up sunday! We get to hear from our very own #AskJames who is in acute care working to help patients during this time!

Sign-up to be part of the Student Network for 2020 APTA House of Delegates.
Students make up nearly one third of APTA membership, and input from students on House motions by way of the SPT Delegate is highly sought out and valuable. https://t.co/nRk1n9JE0H #APTAHOD
