@BarstoolTenn I’ll be honest, I think the New Mexico incident, as tragic as it was, is one of the last reasons to hate Alec Baldwin (which I do). This isn’t a universal philosophy but I think you sometimes have to judge people’s worst mistakes for their intent more than the consequence.
It’s not bad. But there are plenty of low-budget indie flicks out there that are just as good. This isn’t as good as it should have been given the cast and the money spent on it.
We have a good news update to share.
Late last week, KPD Crime Scene Tech Cody Lawson was discharged from the hospital. She is now at home recovering from the injuries she sustained when she was shot while processing a crime scene on Jones Avenue.
Cody is doing well and grateful for the love and support she has received from the Knoxville community. She remains in good spirits but still has a long road to recovery.
In addition to the fund that our department established through the Knoxville Law Enforcement Federal Credit Union, Cody’s family has set up an online fund to support her ongoing recovery. That fund can be found here: https://t.co/X7BopmqmCI.
Thank you to everyone who has already donated to Cody’s recovery. We have been truly overwhelmed by the incredible outpouring of support for Cody, her family and the men and women of our department. And we sincerely appreciate the continued love for Cody in the days and weeks ahead.
@MUFCAU@Nihilmatic@Tgarratt10 I realize calling your players out is risky business but sometimes it has to be done. The media tried to manipulate Tuchel’s words and divide him and Jude to make headlines and Jude was stupid enough to fall for it and show up his manager. That doesn’t make Tuchel out of line.
@MUFCAU@Nihilmatic@Tgarratt10 I’d say that doing things differently might not be a bad idea given England’s lack of success over the last 60 years despite having a team that should be good enough to go up against anyone. Passiveness gets you nowhere. What do you think Sir Alex would do after a game like that?
@MUFCAU@Nihilmatic@Tgarratt10 I think we just have different philosophies and both of us could point to different examples of where our beliefs were successful and/or failures. I’d agree calling your players out has to be executed right if you’re going to do it, and I think he did. Just my opinion. We’ll see.
@MUFCAU@Nihilmatic@Tgarratt10 He has every right to say they didn’t perform well. If you want a manager happy with that performance, go hire Southgate back or bring Lampard, Gerrard, or Graham Potter in, and let me know how that goes. Jude was out of line and tarnished his own performance today.
@MUFCAU@Nihilmatic@Tgarratt10 You’re a fellow United supporter, so I don’t want to argue. I’d think watching his team play the way they did after a week of preparing them is very demoralizing to see. Why do they deserve a good review from him more than he and the fans deserve a good performance? Thats all.
