The E0 Petrol which was available for Rs 65 per litre while crude was $130 per barrel is now available at ₹170 per litre when crude is $80 per barrel.
Isnt this development ?
Bad mileage?
Your calculations are wrong, go to service centre!
Bad AQI?
Your meters are wrong, go to a weather station.
Bad water?
Throw that TDS meter. Go to jal board office to test the quality.
Bad governance?
What nonsense?? See Pakistan.
If that's the case, then why not simply sell pure petrol, which is cheaper? Why add ethanol to it? What purpose does it serve, other than making a few families richer and richer?
YouTuber Mukesh Mohan cooks Nitin Gadkari.
Nepal, Srilanka are selling petrol at a lower price after buying from us, how are we having a loss of 75000cr.
XP100 ₹170, XP95 ₹111, E20 112
Oil Minister says:
We can't lower prices as we are paying more to Farmers for Ethanol.
It's so funny that Nitin Gadkari has challenged people to show even a single car that has gone bad after E20 usage but being a road and transport minister he hasn't challenged anyone to show a pothole on road for obvious reasons.
Same India sells Pure Petrol to Bhutan at about 60-65 ₹/litre.
But Indians have to pay much higher price for Ethanol adulterated petrol. This is open loot.
Despite crude oil dropping to $68 per barrel, the public remains deprived of any financial relief, even as oil marketing companies enjoy a profit margin of ₹11 per liter.
In retrospect, when crude skyrocketed to $119 per barrel in 2022, petrol and diesel retailed at ₹96 and ₹89 per liter, respectively.
Even when crude corrected to $75 in 2023, the benefits were never passed on to the common man.
