my brother gave me a dog plushie that looks like our childhood dog, but as frankensteins monster. i pointed it out shopping once— when we came back for it, it was completely sold out. idk how he even got one.

my mom & i have been rough, but she called out of work early to spend most of the day with me. she bought me the arkham games again— the first games she ever got me. i brought up missing being able to play months ago, i didnt expect her to go out of her way to get them again.

my cousin & her bf, who i had assumed forgot my birthday this year, stayed up all night last night making me a cake when they overheard that my original cake idea wouldn't be able to be done in time bc of ingredient + time issues.

my stepmom helped with the watch, but she also went out of her way to get advice from me from her colleagues in a similar field to what im going into. i found out that she tells all of her coworkers about me whenever she can. she & my father live on the other side of the country.

awhile ago my favorite watch broke. i never got a new one, because i just couldn't find one like my old one. i didnt think anyone noticed, but my father shipped me a replacement watch after seeing i wasn't wearing it in any pictures lately.
