I disagree with the premise that 2XKO was made for the FGC. What tag fighter player wanted a game with no inputs, no movement, and strike throw offense?

Game wasn't made for fighting game players, it was made for people who loudly complain about FGs on twitter but never boot up

For reference, last year SF6 had 4,228 entrants, and in 2024 it had 5,265.

SF6 alone is down to less than half of its 2024 total, losing over 2,800 entrants.

EVO Vegas is not the EVO we grew up with.
