STRAIT OF HORMUZ TRAFFIC NEAR HALT AMID DUAL BLOCKADE
Strait of Hormuz saw minimal commercial movement on Tuesday as Iran-enforced restrictions and U.S. sanctions effectively slowed shipping to a trickle. Only a few vessels—mostly Iran-linked—continued transits, while many others avoided the route entirely.
Greek operator Dynacom Tankers Management moved a tanker carrying Saudi crude through the region, one of the few major non-Iran-linked shipments. Meanwhile, Iran-aligned ships and a limited number of vessels using approved northern lanes near Larak and Qeshm continued cautious passage.
Analysts warn the dual blockade is disrupting hundreds of millions of barrels of oil flows, with more disruption expected as tensions persist ahead of a looming cease-fire deadline.
