"To girls everywhere, I am with you. On nights when you feel alone, I am with you. When people doubt you or dismiss you, I am with you. I fought everyday for you. So never stop fighting, I believe you." – Chanel Miller
This kind of behavior is NEVER okay and we cannot keep teaching young people to think that it is. Boys will be boys is an old excuse that fuels rape culture and condones violence against women.
Abortion restrictions have no medical benefit & have been proven over and over again to lower quality of care, and ultimately harm patients. The Women’s Health Protection

No one should go through what she and many others have. But they did and we cannot keep quiet about it. It’s on the adults in these situations to take care of children and not abuse their position. The more we cover these abuses up, the more we enable abusers to continue doing it
THIS is why we need to be paying more attention to sexual violence that effects our most vulnerable: minors. We need to be having this conversation and adults continue to shy away from it while youth like Ashley Wagner are leading the conversation....

This is absolutely heartbreaking. This young woman had the courage to speak out against her harasser and she was killed for it. This is why this work is so important. We need to recognize that this happens in America too and we need to work together to address it.
