@Tygget we dont know if these sizes are right (very likely the super tall 2nd stage is shorter / 3rd stage not included in early models)
but according to past demo PPTs its like 3 stage config 150t-LEO/50t-LTO, 2 stage config 150t-LEO(1st reuse)/80t-LEO(both stage reuse)
@Sooryan_86@rinsakaviation I dont think they're related, JF-17 development start with J-7M (J-7P in cn designation), then J-7CP (Super 7), finally it turns into FC-1 (JF-17) after americans left the project
New documents publicized by the government of Hainan province have detailed much of the Long March 9's 2.75 billion Yuan, 71.8 square kilometer factory in Wenchang, to be completed around May 2028

@Echo5550@Truthful_ast if there isnt any major change in plan then total height for 3 stage version should be ~110m, so perhaps I'm wrong, theres change in plan or there is future development stretch boosters? the 15-16m fairing came out of nowhere after all
@Echo5550@Truthful_ast idk perhaps they meant to stack stage 2 and fairing/payload in the building for non-recoverable versions? that could explain the height if the boosters aren't that tall
@Echo5550@Truthful_ast imo the booster is 80-90m high
This schematic is from the same stream (bilibili/云上天镜SpaceLens) as other drawings, I've translated the text. since CZ-10 is around 90m in height so it should still be exceptionaly tall
Indeed bigger LVs could be expected in the future, should we are to build space infrastructures that could free us from launching rockes from Earth surface, e.g. Orbital Rings. That perhaps need tens of thousands tonnes to orbit, and even Starship-class could be insufficient
@Truthful_ast I think they're rather on par, perhaps BF-20 is slightly better? Though I was impressed by YF-215's deep throttle capabilities, a 2023 paper seems to indicate a range of 25% - 110%. The only thing I was upset about YF-215 is how un-transparent its develop was
