Our Show Choir and Chamber Choir brought festive cheer to the BBC Television Centre last week. Our students embraced the winter atmosphere as they performed a mix of traditional carols and Christmas classics.

Last week, Y7 students attended a live Zoom Webinar with author Robin Stevens titled ‘Solve Mysteries and Crack codes’. 🕵️

Stevens shared her own journey of becoming an author and discussed the art of writing murder mystery novels.

This December, five Y10 English classes travelled to Russell Square to visit The Charles Dickens Museum to support their study of A Christmas Carol. They even saw the room where A Christmas Carol was written!🖋💭

On Tuesday evening, our Sacred Heart Chamber Choir performed three beautiful pieces of Christmas music - On Christmas Night, Noel, and Star Carol - as part of a moving charitable service. 🌟Their performance was very well received by all in attendance.

On Friday, a group of Year 11, 12 and 13 students visited Cambridge Theatre to watch Maths Inspiration. 📣💭

They watched some brilliant interactive talks from various mathematicians who really brought maths to life using real-world applications.

In September, our new Year 7 pupils were allowed to choose one book out of a selection of 16 titles to receive as a gift from the school library! 📚👏

Their chosen books have now arrived courtesy of @Booktrust and are being distributed to all pupils.

Our team of sixth form debaters came third in a heat of 8, with some incredibly close scores (4-point separation from first and third place). 👏

Gabriella Q, Perpetua P, Ela G and Milan W all took part, providing some very compelling speeches.

Both teams showed fantastic teamwork and integrity and have progressed to the finals held at Latimer School in December.
