President @realDonaldTrump, Iran’s regime told you that it had stop executions of protesters, a move we believe was designed to ease international pressure and create space for talks. But now, as negotiations continue, young Iranians are once again facing imminent execution.

Ehsan Hosseinipour, accused of setting fire to a mosque in Pakdasht, has denied all charges. According to his dismissed attorney, authorities are moving toward a rapid execution. Hosseinipour says a gun was forced into his mouth while he was shackled, and that his “confession” was beaten out of him.

Meanwhile, 19-year-old national wrestling champion Saleh Mohammadi faces the death penalty in Qom on what supporters call a fabricated charge of killing a special forces officer. He too says he was tortured into confessing.

Negotiations cannot come at the expense of human lives.
