@GavinBarwell@PJDunleavy Just as industry was frightened to speak out against Farage in 2016; growing sections of the media want to stay on side just incase he should get the keys to No10.
@AntonSpisak A centrist party/movement that is willing to "fess up" and provide accountability for the lies sold in 2016 to the electorate, seems beyond the British political system. So far every liar has been awarded. Without it an increasingly reactionary and divisive politics will grow.
@GavinBarwell@DavidHeadViews@Prosper_UK_ A nation divided now in so many ways - those divisions playing out as fractures in it's politics. A unifying force from the centre ground must emerge. Its needs to be created and sculpted urgently.
Being blind to Britain's integration failures led to huge problems.
Being blind to our actual successes could lead to bigger ones
A British model of tolerance and coexistence is being quietly built - while sectarians gather on both sides.

Announcing Prosper UK’s new Business Advisory Council.
Too often, economic policy is shaped at a distance from the realities businesses face.
This brings together leaders from across the UK economy to help shape a serious, pro-enterprise agenda - focused on investment, innovation and job creation.

Off to celebrate #Eid - shall try my best to remain hidden and not dominate. Really wouldn't wish to find the right wing populists finding themselves ever so upset at seeing a diverse Britain comfortable in its own skin.
"Muslims present who wished to pray, did so. There were no exhortations for those of the many other faiths present to join in – if that was an “act of domination and therefore division”, as some have suggested, it was a remarkably odd one."

Iftars across the West Midlands brought people together across faiths and communities.
Open, shared, and rooted in common values - that is the kind of country we should champion.
After the event coalition building -
"President Donald Trump wants to show regional backing for the campaign, to bolster its international legitimacy as well as support at home."

Britain has benefited from immigration across generations - when it has been properly explained and responsibly managed.
The real question is not whether immigration exists, but how we approach it.
That means an honest conversation about skills, training our own workforce, and where legal migration fits into the economy.

Prosper UK is taking the conversation beyond Westminster.
After our first visit to Cardiff, we are heading to Birmingham on 16 March to meet local businesses and hold an open town hall with supporters.
Because good policy starts by listening to businesses and people across the country.
Seven million centre and centre-right voters feel politically unrepresented.
They are not drawn to today’s offer - but they are not lost to politics.
The Conservative Party is strongest when it is a broad church, speaking to the middle ground and focused on economic competence.
There is space for serious debate about how we win them back - and how we deliver growth again.

We are reaching well beyond the usual political base, including people who have never voted Conservative or who have not voted Conservative in recent years.
People from different backgrounds and voting histories are coming together around growth, enterprise, jobs and opportunity.
