Officers responded this afternoon to a reported shooting on Rain Meadow Court. Upon entering the home, they determined there were no victims. Authorities believe the call was a “swatting” incident. The investigation remains ongoing. There is no danger to the public.

We assisted the @TNHighwayPatrol last night with a sobriety checkpoint on US Highway 31 (Main St). SHPD officers made 9 traffic stops, issued 4 citations, and performed field sobriety tests on 3 drivers.
