@sanjaybpi Even a Tatkal ticket gets confirmed faster than the 5-Day Banking notification. 😄
Bankers don’t need another motivational speech.

HONOUR THE AGREEMENT – ENSURE FAIR PLI FOR ALL.
As per the Wage Settlement Agreement, the same provision of PLI up to 15 days is applicable to officers up to Scale VII.
However, the Government has now introduced a separate PLI structure for officers in Scale IV and above, making them eligible for PLI of up to 365 days.
This has resulted in a huge disparity. While employees and officers up to Scale III are receiving merely around ₹20,000 to ₹30,000, officers in Scale IV and above are receiving PLI amounting to lakhs of rupees.
Is this fair?
Employees up to Scale III are the field-level functionaries and the real backbone of the banking system. We are directly involved in customer service, business mobilisation, deposit growth, credit expansion, recovery and the day-to-day functioning of branches. We serve customers at the grassroots level and contribute significantly to the growth and profitability of our banks.
If performance is the basis for PLI, how can the contribution of nearly 9 lakh employees and officers up to Scale III be ignored, while the benefits are disproportionately extended to only around 40,000 officers in Scale IV and above?
The contribution of field-level employees cannot be negligible when it comes to sharing the rewards of the bank's performance.
How can those who contribute at the grassroots level be denied a fair share of the fruits of their collective hard work?
We are not against anyone receiving PLI. Our demand is for fairness, equality and justice for all bank employees.
HONOUR THE AGREEMENT
ENSURE FAIR PLI FOR ALL SCALES
REWARD THE REAL CONTRIBUTORS TO BANKING GROWTH
FAIR PLI FOR ALL – OUR RIGHT, OUR DEMAND
India’s Bank employees seek two things rooted in fairness and dignity at work.

The demand for a 5 Day Work Week in banks is not new. It already stands agreed upon in the Bipartite Settlement of March 2024. What remains is its long-pending implementation.
At the same time, the unilateral and discriminatory PLI system must be abolished and replaced with a fair, transparent and inclusive framework for all employees, recognising the collective effort behind every institution’s performance.
Hardworking bank employees are not asking for privilege. They are asking for implementation of an agreement and equality in reward.
A motivated banking workforce strengthens Indian banking and the nation.
@PMOIndia
An agreement must be honoured. A reward system must be fair.

The 5 Day Work Week for bank employees was agreed in the Bipartite Settlement of March 2024. Its implementation cannot remain pending indefinitely.
At the same time, a unilateral and discriminatory PLI framework that divides the workforce must give way to a fair, transparent and inclusive system for all employees.
Every achievement of our banks is the outcome of collective effort.
Recognition too must reflect that collective contribution.
We seek no privilege, only implementation of an agreed commitment, equality in reward and dignity at work.
@PMOIndia
What value does an agreed Industrial Understanding hold if its implementation can remain indefinitely pending ??
Will this structure of recognition not divide the workforce??
We don’t want favours. We want fair, transparent & equitable PLI for all.

It is the fight of every single banker irrespective of class.
Because discrimination can never build a strong Institution.
It's a fight to protect our Bank,to preserve the dignity & most importantly to safeguard the future of young bankers.
Don't play foul with your own future.
As part of the 62nd Foundation Day celebrations of BOIOA Mumbai & Goa Unit, we celebrated this special occasion not just by remembering our journey, but by sharing happiness and hope with the families who are an integral part of our larger BOI family.
An educational support initiative was organized yesterday at Head Office, Mumbai, for the children of our Facility Management and Housekeeping Staff. Educational essentials were distributed to around 150 students studying from 1st to 10th Standard, while three meritorious students were awarded scholarships of ₹11,000 each.
Graced by the presence of our esteemed Executive Directors and senior executives, the initiative reflected the true spirit of BOIOA — service, inclusiveness, social responsibility, and standing together as one family.
The smiles on the faces of children and proud parents reminded us that the greatest celebrations are those that create opportunities and inspire dreams. On this 62nd Foundation Day, these moments made our celebrations truly meaningful.
Sharing a small video to cherish and preserve these beautiful memories.
Warm Regards,
Nilesh Pawar
Lack of clear advancement opportunities is a leading cause of voluntary turnover, with many employees quitting due to perceived inequities & favouritism. A transparent and logical promotion process is essential to eliminate favoritism, build trust, and motivate employees.
