We had a great and inspiring time seeing A Million Miles Away! and hearing the story of Astronaut Jose Hernandez as he triumphed over adversity to follow his dreams from being a migrant farm worker to working on the Space Shuttle Discovery!

We are now less than 24 hours away from the start of the Great North American Eclipse over our area!
While it will be mostly cloudy, momentarily breaks in the clouds should provide direct glimpses, so keep your Eclipse Glasses handy!
Our Special Topics in Social Studies got to apply their study of innovation and persistence in American inventions, by building their own @pitscoed hot air balloon!
