🚨🚧 ATTENTION Bearkats and Parents coming to Move-In weekend from the Houston area! 🚧🚨 I-45 is scheduled to be closed to southbound traffic near Creighton Road and FM 1488 (San Jacinto River Bridge).

All I-45 southbound lanes will be closed from Friday, August 19, 2022 at 9 PM until Monday, August 22, 2022 at 5 AM.
Southbound vehicles will be detoured at the Creighton Road exit to the I-45 Feeder.

Earlier today, Officer B. Smith presented a Situational Awareness program to the SHSU Visitor Center staff as a part of their in-service training. We enjoy taking the time to connect with our university community to increase their personal and overall safety.
