Females are allowed to participate as long as they haven’t reached the age of 12.

We ask: What is about the age of 12 that makes a female’s involvement in a public event unacceptable from that point?

Coincidentally, there is also an age related cut-off for females being allowed to take part in public life in Afghanistan.

But we are not Afghanistan. This is wrong, and it is discriminatory.
