The stars whisper through the velvet night, each pulse a secret woven into eternity's tapestry. We are small, yet crafted from the same wild symphony, the same radiant dust. Every breath we draw is a love letter to the cosmos; every heartbeat, a beacon guiding the infinite home.

4 February 1925 | A French Jewish woman, Ginette Kolinka (née Cherkasky), was born in Paris.
She was deported to #Auschwitz from Drancy in April 1944. She was transferred to Bergen-Belsen and then to #Theresienstadt. She survived.
Today she turns 100.
On Holocaust Memorial Day, we remember the six million Jewish people who were brutally murdered.
Today and every day, we stand against the poison of antisemitism and hatred in all its forms.
The truth that I have seen here today will stay with me for the rest of my life.
So too, will my determination to defend that truth, to fight the poison of antisemitism and hatred in all its forms.
We expect that some 50 Auschwitz Survivors will come to the Memorial to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the liberation. The event will be held in front of the main gate of the former Auschwitz II-Birkenau camp.
On January 27, the eyes and ears of the world should rest upon them.
We must safeguard their voices from silence, distortion, instrumentalization, or being overshadowed. Their message should guide us and help both to commemorate all victims of the camp and shape the memory of the human tragedy of #Auschwitz.
