@Colin_d_m I can officially spare you the effort on the Netherlands: unless you somehow manage to register as a research institute, you cannot get the data (they specifically have it, but won't give it)
@nikicaga As a Dutch speaker I have to say, this slogan in no way makes me think it's like "yes we can", I guess the literal translation could be that?
But there is no "we" in here for example
@Prolemasses Yeah agreed, in the Netherlands the best place to put them is offshore in the North Sea, and you still get people complaining about "Horizon pollution" even though they can only see a faint outline of a windmill
@Prolemasses 2: they're *really* noisy. You might not notice it if you're just close to one, but especially at night, the deep swooshing sound will drive you insane, but is highly dependent on the what way the wind is blowing
@Prolemasses Im a big fan of windmills, but I know some people that live close to some, t2 big points:
1: sweeping shadow. It's super annoying in a way that you don't really think about. according to the law there's a limit to how many hours of sweeping shadow a house can have (Netherlands)
@nikicaga Okay so on the one hand this guy is obviously an idiot.
On the other hand, he hasn't marked Wadi Rum on that map (Wadi Rum is that red rocky area just to the east of Aqaba)
@Prolemasses What happens with the US in this timeline? They still end up in the Entente or does Germany do less U-boat warfare, leading to US being neutral or something?
@ProudBavaria Okay but the "Demand the Russians fight you in a decisive battle" may have worked against Tsar Alexander, throw in some lines about honor or something and he'd probably be the one demanding a decisive battle
@ProudBavaria Wait it's a fucking platypus??? I thought it was just some random fossil
Anyway, here's mine: I think the original idea of giving the player as little control as possible over wars was a great idea. The implementation just sucked.
