My point was somebody important to the team won’t get signed now when they’re due a nice raise, so when that guy has to get traded, the glaring reason is Leo took too much. A much lesser player will get that roster spot, and if the team just can’t go far enough, yay Leo.

@Xvxv9898 @spittinchiclets Fair point but Leo’s number is 50% higher than it needed to be. Every other player will now want a percentage of that, so they’re 50% higher. Your top 6, top D pair and a stud goalie will be 2/3 of your cap. Too many guys after that can only be at or near league minimum
