The Kilifi Central fish landing project is yet another example of what happens when we don’t follow the law when doing shiny things. What is otherwise a much needed facility has left a bitter taste hapa because the community feels their views were totally ignored from conception to execution. After having a long discussion with our Principals in Linda Mwananchi and Babu Owino, I want all the young people to understand the real situation in the movement and clearly know that Babu Owino did NOT plan some kind of secretive political scheme against Edwin Sifuna in order to undermine him. That did not happen and Edwin Sifuna also confirms that !

It is confirmed, that all principals were in a general consensus with where we are at with different parties, and it was not something that was first initiated by Babu Owino, but other non-mandated leaders who went against the original arrangement BUT they still again had to agree on having different parties.

From today, I want us to be cautious and stop fueling this division between Babu and Sifuna, IT IS NOT JUST COMING FROM US, There are even government accounts with Sifuna’s profile that are hell bent on escalating this situation until it gets to the head of our principals.

I want us to have a new engagement from today as supporters, on how we can salvage this situation and restore the unity.

WE ARE NOT HAVING ANY DISCUSSIONS TILTED TOWARDS DISUNITY ANYMORE. Let’s Stop !!
