Port Chaplain Ruth saved the day for the crew of the Kian bulk carrier coming from balmy Tampa, FL. The vessel was so low in the water, they couldn’t put out a gangway to let anyone ashore. Yet, Ruth delivered the essentials they requested! 🙏

For a day "on the town" Port Chaplain Ruth took the crew of the Interlink Celerity bulk carrier to the New Haven train station in the morning and upon their return from New York drove them back to their vessel.

On Valentine's Day, Port Chaplain Ruth parted with this fun crew of Norse Camden, a bulk carrier. They are on their way to NOLA, perhaps right in time for Mardi Gras.

After 5 months at sea, the young seafarer in red on the left, rushed out of the van and jumped for joy! 😄 Now, the bulk carrier named "Lake Ontario" is heading for Montreal, getting relatively close to the lake it is named for.
