We represent over 75,000 public sector, @siptuhealth, emergency services and community sector workers campaigning for better public services and better jobs.
Liberty Hall is important before the Rising.
It is important on the eve of the Rising.
It is important during the Rising.
It is important after its attack, it is important after its rebuilding, and it is important today.
@PresidentIRL

After lengthy WRC negotiations, a set of proposals are on the table to progress the Section 39 pay dispute.
Not all issues are resolved, but this is a step forward in securing fair pay and recognition Section 39 workers.
A consultation process will now take place with members once the proposals issue for their consideration.
🚨 Section 39 talks adjourned until Monday.
While progress was made we are disappointed that an overall set of proposals could not be finalised due to remaining gaps between the parties.
In the absence of an agreement we will continue to progress our strike ballot.
This week, we launched #SIPTUwomen across our socials.
Here’s Rosie, Mary, Suzanne and Lynda.
All Shop Stewards, all workplace leaders, all union legends!
Remember, a woman’s place is in her Union!

Today marks an important step in our fight for pay justice for Section 39 members.
The mandate from our membership is strong and clear.
The ball is now firmly in the hands of the Government.
They can turn their fine words into deeds and action.
Nothing less will do.
🚨 SIPTU members in selected Section 39 organisations vote for strike action. 🗳️
Our members have overwhelming by 96% to 4% for strike action in order to force a resolution to a long-running pay dispute.
The Unions go again Monday at the WRC.
WATCH: SIPTU Services members are a huge cog on the wheel of an economy that is moving well ahead.
Our members are on the front line.
Together, we are growing our union and making sure no service worker is left behind.

There’s never been a Labour panel without @labour (ICTU) representation in the Seanad. Thomas Foran, Evelyn Owens, Marie Sherlock, Fintan Kennedy and many more staunch trade unionists were the voices of the movement in the upper house down the years. Very proud of @CosgroveNessa
