A Swiggy delivery rider from Jaipur has won hearts online after responding to a discriminatory delivery instruction with empathy instead of anger.

Aftab Khan was shocked when he saw a note on an order that read, "Don't send a Muslim delivery boy." Instead of cancelling the delivery, he decided to meet the customer and understand why the message had been written.

When Aftab politely asked about the note, the customer reportedly apologised and explained that it was an old instruction added during a difficult phase of his life. He admitted he had forgotten to remove it and didn't know how to delete it.

Rather than arguing, Aftab took the customer's phone, removed the message from the app, and accepted his apology. The conversation ended with a handshake and a glass of water.

Reflecting on the incident, Aftab said, "Everyone makes mistakes. He apologised to me, and that relieved my heart. Our aim is to spread love in the country."

The heartwarming interaction has gone viral, with many people praising both the rider's compassion and the customer's willingness to acknowledge his mistake.

​India transitioned into a lower-middle-income country in 2009 and has remained in that category for nearly two decades. Our current national GDP per capita is approximately $2,800.

​Meanwhile, Tamil Nadu has consistently focused on balancing economic growth with social welfare. By the end of this year, the state is projected to reach a GDP per capita of around $6,500- the highest among India’s large states.

​As a state in India, Tamil Nadu has already surpassed the average income levels of these newly elevated upper-middle-income countries.

​India’s national average of $2,800 masks more than it reveals. On one side, you have states like Tamil Nadu at $6,500; on the other, states like Uttar Pradesh and Bihar hover around $1400 and $950, respectively. Consequently, India remains a country with stark regional inequality while still being relatively poor overall.

​Furthermore, as noted recently, Tamil Nadu and Kerala maintain some of the lowest internal inequality rates in the nation.

​That is why I keep repeating this point: the next 15 years represent a critical, "make-or-break" economic window for India.

Yesterday, while driving from Varanasi to Delhi on the Ganga Expressway, I witnessed something I will never forget.
An i10 had crashed into a truck after what seemed to be a tyre burst. four people were trapped inside, fighting for their lives. Without thinking twice, I stopped. It took nearly 10 minutes to break open the rear door with a metal rod and rescue an elderly lady. The front door wouldn't open, so we broke the windshield to pull the others out. All were soaked in blood, It was a sight no one should ever have to witness.
A couple in their 50s and few passersby also stopped to help. Together, we did everything we could. As the ambulance was delayed, I carried the injured into my car and drove until we met it halfway. Before leaving, I made sure all their belongings reached them safely.
After almost one and a half hours, I continued my journey. Later, I learned that all had survived. That one piece of news made every second of that rescue worth it. Life can change in a matter of seconds. Please inspect your vehicle before every long trip. Don't ignore worn tyres, unusual sounds, or warning signs. Reach a little late if you have to, but reach safely.

Please Help when you can. One day, it could be you or someone you love waiting for a stranger to stop.
