We have an exciting announcement!👀
A brand new #InvictusGames Foundation short film premieres on 4 July.
We'll be revealing the trailer very soon, offering a first look at a powerful story from our community and the remarkable people whose journeys of recovery and healing continue to inspire us every day.
110 years ago today, more than 800 Newfoundlanders went into battle at Beaumont-Hamel. More than 700 were killed, wounded, or went missing in a single day. Despite their horrific losses, the Newfoundland Regiment fought in World War I until 1918.
Today, as we celebrate the greatest country on Earth, we remember all those who served and sacrificed so that we could live in freedom and peace.
I wish Canada, Prime Minister @MarkJCarney, and all Canadians a Happy Canada Day. Ukraine joins you in celebrating this day. We appreciate Canada’s leadership in helping us protect the lives of our people across many domains: defense assistance, pioneering work on sanctions against Russia’s shadow fleet and financial sector, diplomatic advocacy, and much more. We are grateful that we can count on your continued support in all these areas. Thank you, Canada!
It was great to welcome so many families to Queen’s Park today to celebrate Canada’s 159th birthday.
Wishing everyone a safe, happy and memorable Canada Day!
🎓Congratulations to Lady Louise on her graduation from St Andrews University!
Lady Louise was joined by her parents, The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh, as they celebrated the end of her degree.

A stronger Canadian economy is built by working together.
Through the new Canada–British Columbia Cooperative Prosperity Agreement, we are building a more resilient, sustainable, and independent Canadian economy by further accelerating the construction of major energy and trade corridors.
#OTD (Mon, Jun 30) 1924, as Acting Sup't at #CacheLake, #AlgonquinPark: "J.W. Millar came in & he notified me he was to take over the office at once. I am busy fixing up my books, ready to leave for home, as I am granted two months’ leave of absence with pay." @ArchivesON
Canada is a mosaic, not a melting pot. A mosaic doesn’t dissolve its pieces. The beauty is in the arrangement, not the blending.
On this #CanadianMulticulturalismDay, we celebrate the diverse communities whose contributions continue to build a strong and vibrant Canada.
As if there was any doubt.. God created man and then he gave him an awesome partner and created woman…there is no mention of AI and that’s good enough for us, end of, maybe I’ll get my brolly out to protect myself from all the wet sponges headed my way☔️

Strong democracies rely on free and open conversations among neighbours, friends, and fellow citizens. Only then can trust be built, and can progress begin.
It’s always been a pleasure to visit Finland, and this was no exception 🇨🇦🇫🇮. Thank you to SuomiAreena for having me, and creating the space for these important discussions.
