SEIZED ❌ | Yesterday, @SInspMann and SC Vine were patrolling @PoliceEport when they were alerted to an @OpTutelage ANPR activation.

This camper hadn’t been insured since September 2024 so we added a sticker to their collection and reported the driver for no insurance 🚔

In their day jobs, S/INSP Mann and SC Critchley work on ‘A Block’ in our Force Control Room, answering calls from the public and deploying resources to incidents, but yesterday they were on the other side of the police radio! 🚓

CITIZENS ON PATROL

Friday night saw 16 SCs from across Cheshire come together, alongside members of the public, for Operation Overwatch in the east of the county.

Border areas checked, many vehicles stopped, and numerous incidents / ANPR hits responded to.

May Day 🌅| Last night, 15 officers volunteered their time to support Operation Special May Day, providing additional 999 response resources across the West of the county, assisting regular colleagues with the increased demand as a result of the Bank Holiday weekend.

RTCs💥| On Wednesday, S/INSP Mann and SC Johnson were on duty, responding to incidents in @PoliceChester and @PoliceEport. They attended 3 separate emergency 999 RTCs. Thankfully all drivers were uninjured and all roadside breath tests were negative 🚗 🚧

SEIZED ❌| Yesterday, S/INSP Mann seized another @OpTutelage vehicle in @PoliceEport which was being driven with a failed MOT certificate and no insurance. A separate driver was also issued a Traffic Offence Report for using a mobile whilst driving 📴 🚗

NEWS 🚗💥| Last night, S/INSP Mann and S/SGT Reid from @PoliceEport attended a 'Grade 1' 3 vehicle RTC. Thankfully, no major injuries were sustained and all drivers provided negative breath samples at the roadside. One driver referred for driving without due care and attention 🚔

NEWS | S/INSP Mann was on duty today in @PoliceEport responding to emergency incidents and targeting ‘Fatal 5’ traffic offences including drink and drug driving. Multiple @OpTutelage vehicles seized, several traffic offences reported and 1 person arrested for drink driving 🚓

Multiple emergency and non-emergency incidents attended including;

🏥 1x Concern for welfare

Yesterday our Chief Officer joined S/Insp Mann on duty as a county resource. 🚔

Over the 12 hours they attended RTCs in Warrington & Disley (Peak District), supported Runcorn with eviction enforcement and proactively patrolled Knutsford & Wilmslow.

NEWS | Last night 15 specials, led by S/CI Andrew and S/INSP Mann, booked on duty to provide additional resilience to City Centre policing and support Cheshire’s Safer Streets initiative.

Officers are out in force in Chester City Centre tonight helping to keep people safe this Christmas.

It's not ok for good people to suffer at the hands of criminals - especially at Christmas time - and there is no place in Cheshire for people to commit crime and cause harm.

Last night, S/INSP Mann had the privilege of awarding SC Chan a Chief Officers Certificate of Recognition on behalf of @SCOBoland.

SC Chan and PC colleagues from @PoliceEport were recently recognised by the Chief Constable for their involvement in a high-risk domestic incident.

SEIZED 🚗❌ | Another @OpTutelage seizure for S/INSP Mann who was on duty today in @PoliceEport. This vehicle was being driven by a provisional licence holder without supervision, with no insurance and no valid MOT. Vehicle seized and driver reported for multiple driving offences

Quite astonished to realise I volunteered a whopping 1284 hours in 2022 - A year where I gained Independent Patrol Status and a promotion to S/SGT.

Here’s to 2023 and hopefully many more opportunities to further develop myself and my team of amazing volunteers! 💪🏼
