Last night the humans that own the building were there getting organised for all the events they will be attending over the next few days. Shaun thought the Lantern Parade sounded like lots of fun! #elfontheshelf
Uh oh… looks like Shaun’s back! He’s arranged his PCR test cos he’s definitely travelled a long way to get back to us and wants to make sure he’s safe before he gets up to much mischief! #elfonashelf
Great to visit @SJACMonmouth this evening meeting new members and old. Well done 👍 to those who passed their assessments. @SJACymru @SJACTrustees @SJACGwent
Shaun was a very naughty little elf over the weekend and went out with some of his other elf friends and now he’s had this alert pop up on his phone. He’s now hiding away at the hall in isolation until 22nd December so that he can definitely help on Christmas Eve this year.
December 10th... Shaun has learned how to take someone’s temperature and tried it on himself; he just doesn’t know what’s normal for an Elf!!! Should he be worried?!
December 9th... Shaun decided to help clean one of the ambulances last night. He’s heard how one of our volunteers is part of a team keeping all our St John vehicles in South East Wales clean and ready for action.
December 8th... and there was no photo yesterday cos Shaun was away on a course. He was learning all about the PPE that’s required whenever we come into contact with someone with confirmed or suspected Covid-19. He’s been fit tested for a mask too!
December 6th- Shaun had a fab time last night. He was on the road with 2 of our volunteers til 3am- they didn’t let him drive!
Our volunteers provide support to the NHS at peak times freeing up ambulances to go to sicker patients and making sure everyone receives care quicker.
December 5th... Shaun had a rummage through one of the kit bags to see what he could find.
All of the kit we carry is regularly checked to make sure everything is in date and in a sensible place. It means if we need something in a hurry we can put our hands on it straight away.
December 4th... Shaun overheard two of our volunteers discussing SNOW!!!
During awful weather our volunteers provide extra support to the NHS by heading out in our 4x4 ambulance either transporting staff to work or assisting with 999 calls.
December 3rd... Shaun’s decided he’d like to have a proper adventure someday soon so he’s packing some antimicrobial hand wipes to take with him.
Just like sanitiser it’s handy to slip some wipes in your bag or pockets for when out and about. @SJACymru#elfontheshelf2020
