It's #InternationalWomensDay2022 & as such it's important to recognise the amazing women within @stjohnambulance.

I'm always proud of team on duty with me, but those that stayed almost 3 hours after last night's game whilst we waited for an ambulance for a patient, sum up just how special our @stjohnambulance volunteers are.

Thank you Debb, Cal, Ed and Peter.

Absolutely fantastic to get out amongst the local community again at Belchamps fireworks display last night. Made even better by having this amazing team with me.

A massive thank you to them all for joining me.

Today #MySJADay sees me being able to share the news that I have been appointed the Area Manager for Area 16 in Essex, responsible for Basildon, @SJA_CastlePoint, @SJA_LYU, @SJA_SEEASU, and Wickford.
I look forward to continuing my @stjohnambulance journey in this new role.

[SJA Southend & Rochford All Services Unit @SJA_SaR_ASU]

Well done Devan.

It's great to see our young people gaining experience at lots of different events outside of their normal local area.

[SJA London Bridge @SJALondonBridge]

Today our young people have been volunteering at @LondonStadium supporting #WHUTOT

Devan is a Cadet First Aider with @SJA_SEEASU hoping to become a doctor in the future. He's been volunteering with us for over three years.

[St John Ambulance England @stjohnambulance]

Our event first aiders attend a variety of events – from professional football matches to music festivals – to ensure attendees are safe by offering #FirstAid treatment where necessary.

Most recently, #StJohnPeople supported at @SUFCRootsHall. ⚽

So sad to hear this news.
RIP your Royal Highness.

[The Royal Family @RoyalFamily]

It is with deep sorrow that Her Majesty The Queen has announced the death of her beloved husband, His Royal Highness The Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh.

His Royal Highness passed away peacefully this morning at Windsor Castle.

[Tony Hollick @SJA_Tony]

Today I'm with @stjohnambulance colleagues from @SJA_SEEASU @SJA_CastlePoint and @SJAChelmsford at a blustery Roots Hall.

Please vote for Vicky, she is the wife of our Acting Unit Manager

[Tony Hollick @SJA_Tony]

My wife, Vicky Hollick (@Essexvix), has been shortlisted for this award, please vote for her. She gives loads of time doing media stuff for the club and has just done them a completely new website. She really deserves to win.

[SJA Southend & Rochford All Services Unit @SJA_SaR_ASU]

Merry Christmas to all.
To all our members, young and old, thank you for all you do. We look forward to when we can return to meeting in person, so we can see you all again.

[Tony Hollick @SJA_Tony]

Today I'm at @SUFCRootsHall again with @stjohnambulance colleagues from @SJA_EventsEssex, @SJA_SEEASU and @SJA_CastlePoint for the visit of Port Vale. Here's a photo from just before the start of the 2nd half.

Couple of pics from of the @stjohnambulance team at Southend United v Morecambe on Saturday.
Rocking the PPE. Aprons in the breezy conditions were fun.
Thanks @Jenny5675 @char13900 @DebbRose1 @DanielleOlford
& @Jon_Barltrop for coming. #MySJADay #TeamSJA #GreenFamily #SJApeople

This afternoon/evening I'm at an athletics event in Chelmsford. The weather might not be great (and its weird being at athletics in an empty stadium), but its amazing to finally be out for @stjohnambulance on event cover again.

Six more volunteers from @SJAEast completed the @stjohnambulance Care Module today in Chelmsford. It was a pleasure to deliver the course to them all.

I'm going to #ShaveForStJohn and will be saying goodbye to the beard that I love to raise funds for @stjohnambulance in their fight against COVID-19 using @JustGiving. Check out my page #JustGiving https://t.co/YTe2Phgi4g
