Day 4 of the Bronx Christian Service Immersion: We spent the day cleaning, planting and mulching Crotona Park. We returned home to prepare dinner for our hosts, the Lasallian Community of Bedford Park, and heard from the #ChristianBrothers about their vocation stories.

Part 2 of Day 3 of the Bronx Christian Service Immersion: We had a Lasallian Service Day with @LaSalleAcademy and @loughlinlions! We shared lunch, did a scavenger hunt in the Bronx Zoo with our new friends, and then served the community together! #Lasallian @fscDENA

Day 3 of the Bronx Christian Service Immersion: We cared for God's creation and immersed ourselves in diverse ecosystems of the Bronx at Van Cortlandt Park as we waded in the water and collected samples and studied native species. #springintoaction2019

Day 2 of the Bronx Christian Service Immersion: We spent the day at POTS (Part of the Solution) preparing and serving lunch to 450 guests in the dining room and accompanying shoppers in the community market! #springintoaction2019 #riseandserve

Day 1 from the Bronx Spring Break Christian Service Immersion: we got an Immersion tour from the #ChristianBrothers about the culture, sights, tastes, and history of the borough with tons of stories, laughs, and community building!

Our Juniors spent the morning with Professor Andreas Widmer of the @CatholicUniv learning about the intersection of faith and business. Professor Widmer described his experiences as a Swiss Guard and how his Catholic faith informs his approach to entrepreneurship.

Check out our Peer Ministers who organized Christmas Card writing to those on the margins! Freshmen wrote to children at Children's National Hospital, Sophomores to elderly residents at the Little Sisters of the Poor Community, and Juniors to soldiers serving overseas. #Lasallian

Tomorrow, during lunch periods, Fr. Luke will be offering the Sacrament of Reconciliation for all students. This is a perfect way to prepare for the birth of Jesus!
