This was the perfect class 2 finish out my program. In about the last week of our course I defended my thesis & also began the new school yr, but the positive energy of this course&group was the perfect way to close one chapter & start another. THANK you 💛🖤 #engl680mu#drpgame
@npfannen Is sharing with your MU email sufficient for Learning Port. in a Google Drive folder? I’ve made all files visible to “anyone with the link” and shared the folder with you as well as uploaded the link to D2L #engl680mu
One final peer question! (I think!) I added a very concise reflective bio before my education & experience list. I see some of you have more than this but I also see that we have differing purposes/audiences. Thoughts? Appropriate for students/colleagues/anyone? #engl680mu
@mkoulenMU Thank you! I really appreciate the feedback. I know we’ve all been saying that a lot throughout this course, but your positivity has truly helped to alleviate my “Wait, am I doing this right?” #engl680mu
Same issues as always... My intros to portions of my work are super brief. I feel like I repeat “demonstrate” and “showcase” far too much but just want to be concise and clear. Do I need verb help? Do I need more than this to be powerful? #engl680mu#drpgame
@npfannen@MoxieMJ They could support multiple LO, but I really looked at them and reflected on them in the way they are organized/categorized here. Is that ok?#engl680mu
Probably a few silly questions as I finalize today: I’m not familiar with what other formats look like but I’m using Google Docs for my Learning Port. Should I name the top doc anything else to draw attention to open it first? TOC suffices? #engl680mu
Here’s another one that’s even shorter. Is the alliteration effective or just weird words and trying too hard? Thank you! We’re almost there! 👊 #engl680mu#drpgame
@MrsC_Harting@MoxieMJ@IwantAndie Someone correct me if I’m wrong, but if I’m not mistaken, you can’t switch back?? Not without losing saved changes. Unless I was looking at old help blogs. #engl680mu
@npfannen@GUCK08575205 Thank you! That’s a much better way of wording it. It’s strange to think of this type of language/presentation when NOT really a resume #engl680mu
@npfannen@GUCK08575205 I was curious about similar questions: my primary aud. is not a new employer but rather students, other educators, publishers? who might read my work. Will not have a formal CV but unsure how to list skills beside degrees in a way that doesn’t seem like a resume #engl680mu
@cccm317 @Abigail59387868 I love this too! You have a lot of great ideas with this. My favorite that I would not have thought to put into a question is the “am I standing out or blending in?” Really important for particular audiences. #engl680mu
