RIP Norm Mineta, who passed away today at age 90. Norman Y. Mineta was the former Mayor of San Jose, the first Asian-American to serve in a Presidential Cabinet, and the longest serving Secretary of Transportation. We hold Norm’s political papers here in Special Collections.
