As someone who works in the MMA bubble, I’m numb to a lot. This is the first visual that’s really resonated to make me go, “OK, I see why people might think this is ridiculous and they hate it.”
Strange times in American history.
Last night they tested the UFC stage lighting at the White House. Check it out.
The People’s House is looking more like a Six Flags amusement park after dark. It’s embarrassing.
Kind of makes you wonder who’s accepting and who’s declining Dana’s invitation to the UFC fights at the White House, no?

Former head of UFC PR here.
Trump's name didn't appear in a single press release, one-sheet briefing, talking point, UFC-produced document, book, or piece of content before 2016.
The only time I recall his name being mentioned within my own earshot was execs laughing about his involvement with the money-pit that was Affliction MMA.

UFC booked the Trump Taj Mahal before White was part of the ownership team. Trump didn't even attend the event.
When Trump was associated with Afliction MMA, UFC people talked mad shit.
@LTGetsPolitical I never, ever heard Trump's name mentioned at UFC HQ from 2006 to 2016.
No, actually, just once, when senior execs were laughing about his involvement with the Affliction events.
Scott Coker is returning to MMA promotion with a new league that he says is "about returning to what matters: the integrity of competition, respect for the athletes and sharing their remarkable journeys with the world."
