I don’t actually think men should feel “comfortable” walking around in a mini-skirt or lingerie in public. I don’t think it’s important to make men with diaper fetishes to feel accepted. I don’t think we should destigmatize anti-social behaviour that creeps women and children out. I don’t think you need to bring your weird sexual preoccupations out into the public realm. I think if you are the kind of man who likes to get boners in public spaces by making other people feel uncomfortable you should be shamed and ostracized. This is a good way of dealing with these kinds of men.

I’m afraid I’m just not too worried that the kinds of men who might masturbate in the girls’ change room or murder their families at a hockey rink or demand to be called “she” under threat of suicide might feel “shame.” This is the kind of behaviour people should feel ashamed of, and that normalization has not alleviated. The claim that one must “affirm” an individual’s identity as something they are not in order to prevent mental breakdown has proven false. Indeed, the affirmation has only made things worse.

Bring back shame. Stigmatize perverts. Let the reign of freaks come to an end.

Today we are holding space for Ticaria “Tiki” Lampert, 12, whose life was taken in the tragic school shooting in Tumbler Ridge, British Columbia, Canada on February 10, 2026.

Tiki was only 12 years old.

She was her mama’s everything. The glue of her family. One of eight siblings raised by her devoted mother, Sarah.

Those who loved her describe a bright, effervescent spirit. A little girl who lived fully in the moment. Who could make her whole family laugh until their bellies hurt. Who could spend time with her older sisters and still happily play with the little ones.

Her mom called her their “Tiki torch,” blazing bright.

She loved painting, cooking, crafts, and the things that made her uniquely her. She was courageous, compassionate, and full of life.

Tiki was not a headline.
She was not a statistic.
She was a daughter. A sister. A best friend. A child whose light filled rooms.

Today we honor her name. We honor her spirit. And we hold space for her mother, her siblings, and every loved one carrying this unimaginable loss.

So let’s begin with something called reality, which I know is unfashionable in certain corners of the internet. Andrew Scheer is not “an American.”

He was born in Ottawa. Canadian by birth. He held US citizenship by descent because of his father, which happens automatically under US law.

He did not apply for it. He did not seek it. He did not show up at the border asking for a complimentary bald eagle and a Stars andnSteipes Starter Kit.
And since Canada does not require MPs to proactively disclose other citizenships, when Scheer was asked about it, he answered. That is not hiding. That is called responding to a question like an adult human being.

Now let’s admire the Olympic level selective outrage on display. The same people foaming over Scheer somehow managed to stay serenely calm when Mark Carney entered politics holding three citizenships.

Canadian by birth. Irish by descent. British by naturalization while working in the UK. Carney only renounced the Irish and British when politics made it awkward not to.

One man inherits a citizenship at birth through no action of his own and is treated like a national security incident. The other actively acquires extra citizenships through career choices and gets a polite press release. I recommend you go touch grass and get grounded in reality.

And this is where Canadians who possess critical thinking skills quietly set their coffees down and stare. Scheer did not pick his parents. He did not design US nationality law. Yet you, someone who tries to portray an imagined level of intelligence you simply do not possess judging bu this post of yours, is morally offended that a person inherited a legal status at birth.

That is not political analysis. That is blaming someone for the weather and calling it ethics. If this is the standard, we should probably start demanding people apologize for their grandparents too.

What you are doing is not defending transparency. It is cosplay outrage. The Liberal caucus is full of MPs born outside Canada holding dual citizenships and no one accuses them of divided loyalty. No one demands public renunciation rituals. No one writes hysterical posts about their parents’ paperwork.

But one Conservative former party leader has citizenship by descent and suddenly it is treated like liberals uncovered a spy ring.

This is not concern. It is narrative maintenance. And accusing Scheer of “trying to hide” something he acknowledged is not critique. It is fictional grandstanding with a smug tone and a superiority complex.

Scheer did not choose his citizenship.
Carney chose two of his.
Scheer gets the pitchforks. Carney gets applause.
Hypocrite much?

And since you are suddenly pretending to care deeply about birthplace citizenships and loyalty, here is a reminder of who you are standing next to while clutching those ppearls.Each one of these people are Liberal MPs with dual citizenship.
