@neptuneness and also i agree that that’s what most likely happened in regards to mcr agreeing on the imagery but jesus i didn’t think they’d be this tone deaf
@neptuneness it was genuine! i am so sorry i can see now how the emojis may have made it look sarcastic :( i’m sorry! i genuinely appreciate you not simplifying what you have to say!
@frankbigtits the promo pic is a little more explicit i think but i think it is in poor taste to post imagery like this for promo material right now nevertheless.
tbh just cuz we r on the topic of it, i never liked some of mcr’s black parade thing with war. some lyrics were fine but some imagery wasn’t in my opinion + the ghost of you
this isn’t a logical take, it’s more so what reaction it induced in me. over the past days seeing imagery like the one in the picture wasn’t for a promo.. especially by white people.. you can see where i’m coming from
@neptuneness idk especially in light of recent (not so recent) events in palestine (and more personally syria) seeing these buildings are a familiar sight to me and other arabs. kinda interesting to me to be using this imagery rn when it’s not relatable to most americans.
