I was thrilled to see @GibboneyRebecca join us for our STEM activity today! She read Rosie Revere, Engineer and we worked on building hovercrafts. The students loved the activity and I was pleased with the participation from my class😊
Today at ESY we celebrated the 4th of July with a fun parade! My crew made tie-dye shirts and we got so many compliments on them along with our cool banner!🇺🇸 We’ve also been learning about why we celebrate the 4th and how fireworks are made!🎇
Seeing my students at my son’s swim meet was so fun. 3 of them were standing in a group when they turned and gasped at me like 😲 and then got big smiles on their faces and said “HI MRS. KEISER!!” 👋👋👋 🥰 I love that feeling 🥰
Just got my class list for summer school & guess who is on my list!! Can’t wait to see the look on his face on Monday when he walks into my classroom 😁😁 I’m hoping it’s a reaction close to this 👇🏻😆
Last day with my buddy! I wish i didn’t need to cover his face because this is a super cute picture☺️
I am going to miss him! He melted my heart today saying..”my days won’t be the same without you” 😭 ❤️
Controlling our impulses can be hard! I did some reteaching this morning with this awesome book to 2 of my kiddos. I also recreated the reminder card from the book to hang in our classroom so we can reference it as needed.
Better👍🏼 or Worse👎🏼 are our hand signals
Helped my kiddo with his sight word “and” by relating it to Andy, from his favorite movie Toy Story, as well as it being part of his name. We also reviewed another sight word “the,” as well as our others, using shaving cream and it was a hit!
I’ve been keeping quotes of what my student says to me in my journal..recently I started putting the best ones on post-its so I can always look at them when I need a smile😃
Take a look at the pink one 🥰
💕 THIS IS WHY I LOVE MY JOB👩🏼🏫💕
(Ps. The blue one never happened!!)🤣
My Firstie’s class is filling out a memory book 😊 He struggles with writing, so to keep him from feeling overwhelmed with all the writing, I asked him tell me what he would write, I typed up his answers, cut & pasted them so he could trace them & practice his writing skills! 📝
A simple yet sweet Mother’s Day gift ❤️ I got the idea from TPT but created this one myself! I’ll have my student write his name and then get it laminated for forever keeping for his mom 🥰
