To every Trinamool Congress leader, party worker, booth agent, volunteer, supporter, and believer in the Maa-Mati-Manush philosophy 👇
Buy every packet of sobuj aabir you can find. Stockpile it. Hoard it. Because on 4th May, there is going to be a very serious shortage. The entire state will be painted green. Rabindrasangeet will buzz from every corner of Bengal. And yes, we will play a little DJ too.
Get ready. The celebration has already begun in our hearts. The streets just need to catch up.
Joy Bangla! Maa-Mati-Manush Zindabaad!
BJP leaders believe they are above the law. And they have raised their children to believe the same.
In Shivpuri, Madhya Pradesh, BJP MLA Pritam Lodhi's son rammed his vehicle into 5 people, then blamed the victims for not clearing the road fast enough. He threatened bystanders to stop recording. And then told the police, with breathtaking arrogance, that his father was an MLA who could handle even a murder.
This is not an isolated incident. In Lakhimpur Kheri, former Union Minister Ajay Mishra Teni's son ran over and killed 5 people in cold blood. The Minister kept his cabinet post. A pattern this consistent is not coincidence. It is culture.
BJP's culture. Where power is absolute, consequence is optional, and human lives are an inconvenience to be handled by a phone call to the ‘right’ person.
This is BJP's DNA.
If you think Narendra Modi, Amit Shah, or Yogi Adityanath are BJP’s trump cards in Bengal, you are sorely mistaken. The real trump card fighting for BJP from the shadows is the Chief Election Commission. BJP calls the shots, and the Election Commission obediently follows orders.
Hundreds of companies of Central Forces, who would be far more useful in Pahalgam, Delhi, Manipur, or Noida, have been deployed in Bengal. Now they have been specifically instructed to single out Trinamool Congress protectees, including my own family.
Do whatever you want. Target whoever you want. But remember that your stay in Bengal is limited to exactly 19 days. Those Gujarat babus who are threatening our party workers to stay indoors today won’t be seen in Bengal even for an hour after the results are declared.
That’s not a threat. That’s a CHALLENGE.
.@narendramodi is promising the women of Bengal that he will turn the state into a “Double Engine” Sarkar.
But look at the horrifying reality of women in BJP-ruled states. They are forced to give birth on the streets, outside hospital gates, and die in agony, because there are no beds, no doctors, and no basic facilities.
BJP-ruled states top the charts in crimes against women, treating them as sub-humans with zero dignity, zero rights, and zero safety.
This is the “Poriborton” Modi wants to bring to Bengal. Rejecting BJP is no longer just an option. It is a necessity for the survival and dignity of every woman in Bengal.
The arrest of Vinesh Chandel, co-founder of I-PAC, barely 10 days before the Bengal elections, is not just alarming- It shakes the very idea of a level playing field.
At a time when WB should be moving toward free and fair elections, this kind of action sends a chilling message: If you work with the opposition, you could be next. That’s not democracy- that’s intimidation!
What makes it even harder to ignore is the double standard. Those facing serious corruption allegations seem to find protection the moment they switch sides, while others are swiftly targeted at politically convenient moments. People are not blind to this anymore.
When institutions meant to protect democracy start feeling like tools of pressure, trust begins to erode. On one side, the Election Commission. On the other, agencies like the ED, NIA, CBI stepping in at the most sensitive time. It creates an atmosphere of fear, not fairness.
India has always taken pride in its democracy- loud, messy but free. But today, many are beginning to ask: are we still that country?
This is bigger than one arrest. It is about whether our institutions remain independent and whether every citizen, no matter their political belief, can participate without fear.
Because once fear replaces freedom, democracy becomes just a word.
To Amit Shah and the BJP’s power structure- Be in Bengal on the 4th and 5th of May. Come with Gyanesh Kumar and every agency you deploy. Bengal will not be bullied, will not be silenced and will not bow. This is a land that answers pressure with resistance and it will show you exactly what that means!
With her nomination filed today, Smt. @MamataOfficial steps forward with the strength and trust of the people.
This fight is to protect what Bengal stands for, and to ensure that those who try to impose their Bangla-Birodhi politics, stay rejected.
This fight is for democracy!
🗣️ Jumla: @BJP4India alone works towards improving farmers’ lives.
❗Reality:
👉 Since BJP came to power in 2014, 1,11,260 farmers and agricultural workers have committed suicide.
👉 In 2023 alone, 10,786 farmers took their own lives. That’s 34 suicides every single day. The worst-hit? “Double Engine” Maharashtra (38.5%), Andhra Pradesh (8.6%), and Madhya Pradesh (7.2%).
👉 BJP bulldozed the draconian Farm Laws that triggered massive protests and claimed over 700 farmers’ lives.
👉 BJP failed miserably on its loud promise to double farmers’ income.
👉 BJP refused to give a legal guarantee for MSP, despite years of protests.
👉 BJP signed trade deals that opened Indian markets to American agri giants, while leaving our farmers drowning in debt and despair.

From Raina to Gosaba to Satgachia- Today’s rallies reflect a clear and powerful mood across Bengal.
I am committed to leaving no stone unturned in serving the people and our government will go above and beyond for their all-round development.
Deeply thankful for your love and support. ❤️🙏🏻
The Prime Minister has practically elevated himself to the status of a God. He believes he can do "HISAAB" of the mere mortals of Bengal for daring to reject him and his party in election after election. His arrogance has clouded his judgement. In a democracy, it is not the Prime Minister who does hisaab of the people. It is the people who do hisaab of the Prime Minister. And hisaab the people of Bengal will indeed do.
A hisaab for the withholding of Rs. 2 lakh crore in funds rightfully owed to Bengal. A hisaab for the relentless persecution of Bengalis across BJP-ruled states. A hisaab for the war BJP has waged against our language, our culture, and our food habits. A hisaab for the seeds of division BJP has tried to plant in this land of harmony. A hisaab for the conspiracy to disenfranchise legitimate voters through SIR. A hisaab for the 200 lives claimed in BJP's lust for power.
The people of Raina, Gosaba, Satgachia, and all 294 Assembly constituencies of Bengal are ready. The final score will be settled at the ballot box, in favour of Smt. Mandira Dalui, Shri Subrata Mondal, and Smt. Somashree Betal, and every single Maa-Mati-Manush candidate across Bengal. PM MODI WANTED A HISAAB. HE WILL GET ONE.
BJP came to Bengal riding on their grand Raths. They will be going back on the same chariots, in Ulta Rath.
They came with an ulterior motive to disenfranchise voters through SIR. They will be going back defeated by the very same democratic right they tried to steal. They came to sow seeds of division. They will be going back rejected in the land that stands as a beacon of harmony, inclusivity, and secularism.
They came with an agenda to humiliate, exploit, and torment the people. They will be going back rejected by the very same people they tried to break. They came mocking our luminaries, insulting our language, belittling our culture, and trying to ban our food habits. They came to Bengal with supreme arrogance. They will be going back with their heads bowed in submission.
Those who are spending these 15 days in Bengal ahead of the elections will be gone the very next day after 4th May, never to be seen again until the next election cycle. During the janasabhas at Barabani and Hansan in support of Bidhan Upadhyay and Fayezul Haque (Kajal Sk), I felt the pulse of the people.
The people of Paschim Bardhaman, Birbhum, and the whole of Bengal have already decided that not a single vote will go to the BJP in this election. The Delhi Zamindars came to conquer. They will leave humbled.
Across Manikchak, Ratua, Malatipur and Gazole today, I met countless mothers, brothers and sisters, and the warmth, faith and strength I witnessed will stay with me. This bond comes from years of receiving love, standing with people, ensuring support reaches every household, protecting dignity, and delivering what was promised.
That is why it must also be protected. If these Delhi’s Zamindars are allowed to enter, everything that supports ordinary people will be at risk. Progressive schemes like Lakshmir Bhandar, the assistance that reaches women and families, the systems that have been built with care for the youth, all of it can be stopped or weakened. We have seen this pattern elsewhere, and Bengal cannot allow it to repeat here.
At the same time, what is unfolding is deeply concerning, names are being removed, processes are being interfered with, officials are being changed, all in an attempt to influence the outcome before people even vote. Despite the best efforts of the Bangla-Birodhis, they will still not be able to defeat Bengal.
Because this is a land where unity is a way of life, where we say Joy Maa Durga, Subhanallah, Waheguru Ji Da Khalsa, Merry Christmas with equal respect; where every caste, every creed, every religion belongs equally. This is our identity, and no Bohiragoto can dictate or diminish it.
I urge all of you to stand together, protect what we have built, and respond through your vote by trusting Maa-Mati-Manush candidates Kabita Mandal, Samar Mukherjee, Abdur Rahim Boxi, and Prasenjit Das. Bengal will not bow, Bengal will not break, and Bengal will answer decisively.
.@BJP4India have activated their 'Sleeper Cells' and are actively trying to create unrest in Bengal to capture the elections by any means.
❗They first removed experienced State Government officials to take full control through Vanish Kumar and the Election Commission.
❗Then they appointed Jayant Kant, husband of a BJP leader, as Police Observer in Mothabari, Malda.
❗They activated their B-team, ISF and AIMIM, to stoke unrest.
❗When SIR deletion protests erupted, judicial officials were held hostage.
❗Police later arrested AIMIM leader Mofakkerul Islam and ISF candidate Moulana Shahjahan Ali.
Now BJP is painting entire Bengal as violent and lawless. We must not fall into their trap. Be alert. Be united.
Double Engine this, Double Engine that. You know what BJP’s real Double Engine is?
One engine runs on misusing democratic institutions, weaponising the Election Commission to delete genuine voters, transferring honest officers to destabilise the state machinery, and illegally importing outsiders to rig the electoral rolls.
The second engine runs on recruiting local agents like AIMIM, ISF and AJUP to stoke communal discord, create unrest, split votes, and hand over advantage to BJP. But the people of Bengal have seen through this dirty game completely.
The thunderous response in Joypur, Sonamukhi, Indas, and Khanakul has already declared a massive victory for our candidates, Arjun Mahato, Dr. Kallol Saha, Shyamali Roy Bagdi, and Palash Kumar Roy. Bengal has decided. Bengal will choose Maa-Mati-Manush, a government of the people, by the people, and for the people.
Not a Government that is off the people, buy the people, and far from the people.
The mood in Khanakul is not just clear, it is overwhelming.
It is a one sided wave.
The people have made up their mind and when Bengal decides, no force can stand in its way.
#AbarJitbeBangla ❤️
I am deeply touched and honoured by the presence of thousands of mothers, brothers, and sisters at our Janasabhas in Nanoor, Burwan, and Nabagram. The love that the people of Birbhum and Murshidabad have always shown for Trinamool Congress is something I carry in my heart. I am humbled, and I am grateful. But today, even as I draw strength from the people, I cannot look away from the grave threats that surround our democracy.
The Gonotontro-Birodhi forces of BJP are attempting to poison the minds of our people through hatred and communal venom, hoping to tear apart the secular, inclusive fabric that has always bound Bengal together. We have seen the deliberate insult inflicted upon India's pride, Bengal's pride, Birbhum's pride, Kobiguru Rabindranath Tagore, by these very Bangla-Birodhi forces. The people have witnessed how established electoral norms have been violated to allow rigging to unfold in open sight, before a single vote has been cast.
Our people have been made to stand in humiliating queues merely to prove their right to belong, to retain a constitutional right that was never anyone else's to take from them. I ask those very people to stand in a queue once more, on polling day, with their heads held high, and press the Joraphool symbol with conviction. I ask them to vote for Bidhan Chandra Majhi, Pratima Rajak, and Pranab Chandra Das, and to give Bohiragoto BJP the decisive response they deserve.
Bengal is our pride and our motherland. We will protect it until our last breath.
I have written to the Chief Election Commissioner, raising serious alarm over the grave conspiracy being orchestrated against the democratic rights of the people of Bengal.
BJP agents have been caught red-handed flooding the Office of the Chief Electoral Officer, West Bengal with thousands of fraudulent Form 6 applications to smuggle non-residents and outsiders into Bengal’s electoral rolls. This is an attempt at voter hijacking, the same dirty game BJP successfully played in Maharashtra and Delhi.
While over 60 lakh genuine voters remain under adjudication and more than 200 lives have already been lost due to the flawed SIR process, the ECI is now suspiciously rushing to entertain these bulk fraudulent applications behind closed doors. This is not only illegal and against the orders of the Hon’ble Supreme Court, but a direct assault on free and fair elections in Bengal.
I have demanded that the ECI immediately stop this undemocratic exercise, strictly follow the Hon’ble Supreme Court’s directions, and ensure that no fake voters are added after the final electoral roll was published on 28.02.2026. Bengal will not allow its democracy to be stolen in broad daylight. The people of Bengal are watching.
