The 2nd release on @SLAM_Prods was this a wonderful concert by Lol Coxhill (soprano saxophone), George Haslam (baritone saxophone), Howard Riley (piano), Paul Rutherford (trombone). Recorded in various solo, duo and trio settings - as well as one epic 16 minute quartet recording
at The Holywell Music Room, Oxford, 22nd Feb 1990. Recorded by Michael Gerzon as part of his extensive documentation of live improvised music in Oxford & London. A simple stereo-pair microphone technique was used to capture the sound of the room as well as the musicians.
