SLC Police Officers, Explorers, and civilians hosted the fourth annual Police Pay It Forward event. The program partners officers with 50 children, ages 6-12. We work with @slcschools to help children have a positive interaction with police officers. @Target @ChickfilA

Thank you to everyone who participated in today’s “Ride for Fallen Officers” from Lindon to the Utah Law Enforcement Memorial at the State Capitol in #SaltLakeCity. Hundreds of people turned out to support this important event.

After missing all of 2020 due to Covid, #BikeRodeos are back! We had a great time teaching bicycle safety and handing out helmets to kids this morning! We’ll have more bike rodeos later this summer, look for us!

I. Shire has been volunteering as a SLCPD Explorer for several years, with the goal of joining the department as an officer once she was eligible. Goal achieved as today is her first day in the SLCPD police academy. Congrats to all our new recruits. #blackhistorymonth
