Two more women have come forward with allegations gangs of men groomed and abused them in Glasgow.

Should Scotland have an inquiry into grooming gangs? Survivors told me they first want an independent rapid, 3 month audit to establish the scale of the issue, similar to Baroness Casey’s in England. This is what the FM told me today.

Note: a Scottish Gov spokesperson swiftly clarified the FM has not instructed Police Scotland to conduct a rapid audit. But police are reviewing the issue “at pace.” @itvnews

UK gov is hinting at scrapping the 2 child cap. A child poverty strategy is due this autumn.

Scotland already offset the 2 child cap, with early signs of improvement. While in England child poverty is measurably getting worse.
