First solo autocue and night PA shift as a freelancer ✔️
Feels great to be a part of the team on both sides of the newsroom - looking forward to learning as much as I can!
I’ve been at @BBCLookEast this week being trained up for autocue shifts - it’s been exciting to see how it all works and to have a go at scrolling for the night programme myself!
Meanwhile in Norwich, celebrating the 20th in some well awaited summer weather!
Who knew it could be so light at 4 in the morning! Made it a lot easier to get up for breakfast shifts at @BBCNorfolk.
I’ve had my training this week, reading travel news, and speaking on air here and there. Next week I’ll be doing it all for real - for now, time to rest!
