Sometimes quietly.

But you learn.

This quote hits hard for anyone who’s spent time building a startup, a system, a story - for me it was a product in surgical robotics.

Future products did make it into the hands of surgeons — and continue to help patients to this day.

Quality suffers when companies fail to balance time, cost, and scope—you can’t optimize all three. Many prioritize speed-to-market (time) or cost-cutting over long-term product excellence.

In MedTech and regulated industries, sacrificing quality isn’t an option—it’s about rigorous systems engineering, robust regulatory compliance, and iterative design.

High-quality experiences aren’t rare because they’re impossible; they’re rare because they require discipline, trade-off management, and long-term vision over quick wins.
