They refused to pay for a hotel, or to book me with another airline. In the end, after traveling for 24 hours, I was forced to rent a car *at my own expense* and drive 5 hours to SLO county, then another 3.5 to San Jose (and back) to collect my bags the following day.

Worst experience ever with @british_airways last week. They lost one of our bags (again) in San Diego causing us to miss our connecting flight to San Jose. Their only suggestion was to book me and my kids on separate flights the next day.

@Sarcasmorator Yeah, there was definitely a spike there, for sure. And as you said, the parry mechanic becomes more and more critical for some of the base enemy types from that point onwards.

@Sarcasmorator Yeah, I don't have a Switch (but the boys do) or a PS5 (I will get around to getting one soon), so those games are out for me. But Diablo did drop yesterday...

@Sarcasmorator I felt like I was in the sweet spot where I could make it through, barely, first time on most encounters, and if I explored, I was usually good.
I did a lot of side stuff before endgame though, so I was pretty well leveled for it.

@Sarcasmorator It's wild how many ways there are to play this game. In the end, I actually beat the final boss (on normal) on my first attempt, but it took every one of my stims to do it. It never occurred to me to raise the difficulty though.

As I recall, it was initially branded as HoTMaiL to emphasize just how hilarious a name it was.

@Sarcasmorator It's approaching decision paralysis for me when running around Koboh at times.

But it's doing a good job of keeping me on the golden path by having an engaging story, and not relying on me having done sidequests.

@Sarcasmorator It was delayed many times and then released to small fanfare in 2019. The multiplayer made use of cloud processed destruction, which was kinda neat looking, but ultimately pointless. Single player was clunky and generic and I could only play about an hour of it before I got bored

@Sarcasmorator I noticed a lot of people complaining about it too, but I thought it looked fine. Granted, I watched the episode in a windowless dungeon on a pretty nice HDR TV, but it looked better than GoT all the same.

@SLOTribune What mob? Some people decided not to purchase a game that a vocally transphobic billionaire stands to profit from. No one is coming after her, and as the piece indicates, plenty of people are still buying the game.
