@smoooom@randomfandom88@leahh_163_ If you really are a teacher/professor, then you are the prime example of what needs to change in academia. School should work for students, not in spite of them. And teachers/professors should always be aware that their students exist outside their classroom.
@BryanCooking When I lived in a small rural town and had one in my crawl space, my coworker said around there, you just wait for it to come out and “kill it with a shovel.” To reiterate, it was normal for people to bludgeon possums to death with a shovel.

@Drawn2Intellect I always tell my students that the last time I read up on it, the results showed that there was not a single academic or cognitive task improved by adding music, and many were hurt. But then I say “you’re free to make a choice and/or prove me wrong.”
