@blades_mabel Yes I have done 😊 I try very hard to soften my tone so it’s difficult to hear that it’s not enough and hard to know what to do next without more specific advice 💭
@SJannetts Yep, welcome to life as a woman! 😂 forever adding and deleting many “just wondered if..” , “no worries if not” , and heaps of smiley faces 🙃 we can’t win 😅
Another appraisal, different job, same comment- that my tone is too abrupt in emails.. no specific feedback. I laughed it off with my manager as it’s not seen as a big concern- can’t help but feeling that if I was a man this wouldn’t be an issue 🙃🙄
@GeorgiaSLT@susanthomsonslt@RCSLTpolicy Thank you for your replies! That’s what I’ve been doing too, but wondering if it essential to keep copies of test papers (even electronic). I would obviously still report scores and findings, is the secondary evidence necessary?
Looking for some guidance on SLT case notes, but can only find brief notes from 2016 and HCPC ones- @RCSLTpolicy can you help? Specifically in relation to storing/uploading test papers. Thank you! #mySLTday#speechtherapy#rcslt
One of the strangest things about my job/life now is living amongst my patients/families, however today I got the greatest perk of spotting a child having a meltdown and running hand in hand/chasing/laughing her all the way home. Such a proud feeling, and I got a wave goodbye!
Received the greatest compliment from a young person following our IA the other day, he told his supporting adult that I was nice and was “clearly in the right job”! #smallwins#mySLTday
One month today as an overseas SLT! Having a blast and settling in to a new way of life and working here in Cyprus. Happy to find cake still a regular feature of the teams weekly schedule. Oh, and the morning commute views definitely help..!
There’s a disorder that on average 2 children in every class has, but most people haven’t heard of…Developmental Language Disorder (DLD). Do you know any children who struggle with any of these things on the poster by @TheDLDProject_? It's likely they are DLD. #devlangdis
So excited to see an article about my Speech therapist and I on the Dorset healthcare website! 🐭 https://t.co/f5CfriPEeq
