Southeastern Louisiana University Family,

The University Counseling Center will be providing emergency support group and individual sessions for any students, faculty or staff members who were affected by this recent loss on campus.

There will be counselors available in group settings which will be located in the Student Union Annex Rooms 2202, 2203, 2217, and 2218. These groups will begin roughly every half hour, beginning at 8:00 AM. If you feel that you would benefit further from an individual crisis session please come to the University Counseling Center and request to be seen. The Baptist College Ministry will be available for prayer and support during this time as well outside of the new Starbucks in the Student Union Breezeway.

If you are experiencing a current mental health emergency after hours on campus please call the University Police Department at 985-549-2222. This will get you connected with an on call counselor. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis off campus after hours please call 911 or go to your local emergency room.
