Colombia: In just 3 days our final summer program-Colombia Spanish exchange will set off for 3 weeks of life with our Jesuit partners, Colegio San Pedro Claver in Bucaramanga. For over 20 years SLUH students have been visiting CSPC for homestays, cultural & language immersion.

Soccer Manresa Cup: Fresh off their state championship, 31 SLUH SoccerBills set off for Barcelona, Spain to defend their Manresa Cup Champioship from 2023. The 2025 version did not disappoint & brought home another title this year while also walking in Ignatius' footsteps.

Baltics Russian Immersion: 6 SLUH rising Srs are finishing the final days of a 16 day Russian immersion in Riga, Latvia. Daily language class, Russian speaking host families, cultural excursions, & a weekend visit with our Jesuit partners, Vilnius Jesuit have been so impactful.

Morocco: Our SLUH Arabic scholars spent 2 weeks in Rabat in a language immersion program with Qalam Wa Lawh, a US State Dept. agency for Arabic. Aside from advancing their language skills, homestays, a robust cultural program, & a 2 night desert excursion were major components.

Italy Classics: 31 SLUH Latin students travelled to Florence, Rome, & Naples for a 12 day program visiting major sites of the classics world. Experiencing firsthand the Coliseum, Pompei, The Vatican & Ignatius' history will stay with this group long after their time at SLUH.

Chile: 10 rising SRs spent 3 weeks at our Jesuit partners, Colegio San Ignacio El Bosque in Santiago, Chile in a Spanish immersion program. Regular classes at SIEB, cultural excursions, family homestays, & service opportunities were just a few of the highlights for our JR Bills.

NSLI-Y: Connor Brown, rising JR is on a 6 week Russian immersion in Kazakhstan. Connor was selected for the US State Dept NSLI-Y program, a very competitive, prestigious opportunity that our Jr. Bills studying Russian, Chinese, & Arabic have participated in regularly for years.
