God changed Jacob’s life and gave him a new name. When we are adopted into God’s family, we are called His children. #thegospelprojectkids

Jacob tricked his father to steal Esau’s blessing of land, riches, and power. Esau was angry! Jacob had to run away. #thegospelprojectkids

We do not have to lie or trick God to get a blessing. Jesus paid for our sins on the cross and gives us eternal life. #thegospelprojectkids

God shared with Jacob and Isaac the special covenant He made with Abraham. God promised to bless their family. #thegospelprojectkids

God’s plan for Abraham extended beyond his lifetime. Jesus fulfilled God’s ultimate plan to save His people. #thegospelprojectkids

Abraham believed God would keep His promise about Isaac. Abraham trusted God and was willing to offer Isaac. #thegospelprojectkids

Isaac didn’t have to die; God provided a ram instead. We don’t have to die for our sin because Jesus died instead. #thegospelprojectkids

Abraham obeyed God. He didn’t know how God was going to give him a child, but he trusted God to keep His promise. #thegospelprojectkids
